NATIONAL GALA RECAP
After a long day of informative panels and much discussion, this year’s Gala Dinner was a celebration with over 200 guests. In addition to remarks by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea Young-Jun Kim and Georgia State Representative Sam Park, the audience was treated to a special poem written by Mr. Sunny Park that relayed a heartwarming message between the generations present. Mr. Keith Kim, co-founder of KAC, was awarded the KAC Lifetime Award for his lifetime of service and steadfast dedication to the Korean American community. Locally, Mrs. Chaiwon Kim, CEO of the Center for Pan Asian Community Service (CPACS), was recognized for creating and providing numerous programs and social services to all ethnic communities around Metro Atlanta. As a glimpse of what is to come, the audience was introduced to a new mentoring initiative being development by KAC Metro Atlanta to continue our service and focus on future generations. We also sincerely thank our generous donors who showed their support during the Gala Dinner.
See you next year in Dallas for the 2020 KAC National Convention!
