The 2019 KAC National Convention will reflect on our past, assess issues in our present community, and define our vision for the future. Keynote speakers and breakout sessions filled with new ideas plus professional connections with national and local community members will empower you with the resources needed to make change happen.
DATE: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25 – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2019
VENUE: GEORGIA TECH HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER
Join us as we kick off the convention with a Welcome Reception at New Realm Brewing on October 25, followed by the KAC National Conference on October 26, featuring various speakers and panelists. The KAC National Gala Dinner will take place on the evening of October 26, followed by the Official Afterparty featuring live performances by local ATL artists. An optional private trolley tour of historic sites and important landmarks in Atlanta will take place on the morning of October 27, and the convention will conclude with the Atlanta screening of “Jeronimo” in the evening.

- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Optional tour of historic sites and landmarks in Atlanta (additional fee, details below)
- 5:00 PM Atlanta screening of “JERONIMO” with filmmaker Joseph Juhn
- All convention attendees may attend the screening for free. However, since the event is open to the public, you must reserve your seat before October 16. To reserve, please contact us at KACAtlanta@gmail.com. General public ticket info is available here.

Full Convention Registration includes all meals and drinks, beginning with Friday dinner at the Welcome Reception through the Saturday Gala Dinner (value of over $330 per person).
Once registered, be sure to download the KAC National Convention Whova app for a detailed schedule and information on discounts (click here). The deadline for hotel reservations has passed, but rooms may still be available at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Discounts on air travel through Delta Airlines are still available.
OPTIONAL PRIVATE KAC TOUR OF ATLANTA- SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Before you leave Atlanta, take a tour of the unique historic sites and landmarks in our city! This private trolley tour will including stops at the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame, which honors Dosan Ahn Changho, as well as the Comfort Women Memorial. Only a limited number of seats are available so be sure to select the Add-On ticket when registering for the convention!
